We are learning more and more every day about how a regular yoga practice can profoundly improve our health - physically, emotionally, and mentally.
Especially when taught by a trauma-sensitive teacher who is passionate about helping busy women find their perfect balance in life (that's me!).
Enjoying a 60 or 90-minute yoga class is wonderful, but if you are like me, carving out that much time for a dedicated practice even once a week can feel pretty challenging.
The majority of yoga classes you can expect from your monthly yoga membership will be 28 minutes long so that you can get on with your day.
In fact, research backs up this idea. Current research findings are discovering that shorter, more frequent yoga practices are more beneficial than longer, less frequent practices when it comes to emotional health. Yoga has also been proven to improve mood and anxiety better than walking alone(Streeter 2010).
While yoga has a fairly short half-life, studies show that yoga decreases cortisol right away but those who practice regularly don't necessarily have a lower baseline. This means doing shorter practices more frequently is going to be much more impactful long-term than one longer class.

Our virtual Body Sculpt Classes combine barre, traditional strength training, and injury prevention exercises to leave you feeling strong and empowered in only 28-minutes!
With options for all fitness levels, whenever you are in your fitness journey Body Sculpt can be customized to fit your needs.
EQUIPMENT NEEDED: Participants are expected to have at least one or two sets of hand weights, an exercise mat, and a sturdy chair (like a kitchen chair).
